Ian Barratt
Prior to working for the Union as an LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultant Ian worked for the Bank for 37 years. For the last 20 years of his service he worked as a Senior HR Manager.
Peter Brindley
Peter joined Lloyds Bank in 1966 and began work in the Branch Network with a two year attachment to the Management Services Division in London. He progressed to become one of the first investment and insurance advisors and became an Assistant Manager at a Leeds Branch in 1981. After 5 years with the Inspection Department, Peter progressed to become the manager of Bebington Branch on the Wirral in 1987 and moved via Selby and York to become the manager of the Thetford Branch in East Anglia. Peter became a Senior Business Banking Manager and retired in 1999 after 33 years service. During this time he served on the LTU's Manager’s Committee and began working for LTU as an Individual Advice and Representation Consultant in 1999. Peter now represents members at hearings.
Mike Cornish
Until leaving his role as a Senior Business Banking Manager Mike worked in the Retail Network for over 36 years. His roles have included positions in Area and Regional Offices as well as branches in South Wales and the South Midlands. A lifetime Union member Mike joined the team of LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultants in 2004.
Steve Hands
His first full managerial position was in the City of London and he was later selected for a teaching secondment as an Instructor at the Bank's Staff College. He then moved to the West Midlands to work in Lloyds Bank Commercial Service before being posted to Leeds as Senior Manager. After a health scare in 1999 he retired from the Bank and has been with LTU for almost 10 years as an LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultant.
Martin Johnson
Martin worked for the Bank for 33 years covering Network and Regional Head Office appointments prior to becoming an LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultant where he represents members at hearings with the Bank.
David Knight
Prior to working for LTU as an Individual Advice and Representation Consultant David worked for the Bank for 32 years. He now works as an LTU Consultant providing advice to members with performance improvement issues.
Peter Munday
Peter has worked for Lloyds TSB for 32 years in their IT department and was the chair of the IT Committee and also deputy chair of the Union's Executive Committee. He is a member of the LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultant team and provides advice to members with performance improvement issues.
Rod Ransom
Rod is the Union's Consultant based in the South East of England. Whilst working for the Bank Rod spent five years in the Branch Network, secondments to Residential Training and International Banking based in New York. His managerial appointments include Corporate and International Banking, Risk Management, Regional Office and he was a Personal Assistant to the General Management team in Lombard Street. He spent six years as the Branch Director for the Brighton and Hove area and had a two-year secondment to the Home Office.
John Smith
John worked for the Bank for 37 years in a number of managerial positions including training, Branch Network, Audit and Compliance. He has been a member of the Union for all that time and since retiring has been an LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultant.
Joy Taylor
Joy Taylor has worked as an LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultant for 3 years. Prior to this she worked for the Bank for 32 years with the last 20 being first in training and then in HR.
Richard Tucker
Richard became a LTU Individual Advice and Representation Consultant after 37 years service in the Bank. From his position as Senior Business Manager in Plymouth he joined the management committee of the Union. Richard now represents members at hearings with the Bank.
Mike Roy
Mike previously held a number of Senior HR positions in the banking sector for 20 years, 8 of them in Lloyds Bank. Upon retirement he became an Employment Tribunal member and came to work for the Union as an Individual Advice and Representation Consultant, before leaving to be a Chairman of a large Hospital Trust. He has now returned to LTU, as an Individual Advice and Representation Consultant.
