As a pensioner it is always good to try and save as much money as possible. Whether you're shopping for food, petrol, clothes, shoes, electrical goods or everyday necessities, one thing is certain; it would be nice if it were all just a little less expensive.
LTU's Portfolio Shopping is simple to use and can save you a lot of money.
How does it work?
You buy shopping vouchers for your selected store from LTU. Every £ spent earns you Bonus Points, which can be used to buy additional vouchers or other LTU services.
To make the scheme even easier to use, Sainsbury’s and Asda have introduced the option of using a ‘Gift Card’. Simply decide how much you want to ‘top up’ your card by, telephone 01234 262868 or go online to www.ltu.co.uk with your debit card details to hand, and we’ll do the rest.
To give you an example, for every £100 you spend in Asda, the Bonus Points awarded will be equivalent to a saving of £4. In Boots it will be £5 and in Currys it will be £8!

Look at the list below, it's a 'who's who' of Supermarkets and High Street retailers and we are adding to them all the time.
Are there any special conditions?
Not really, but inevitably with such a large number of companies involved there are one or two who impose limitations on how their vouchers are sold. So it's worth contacting the Union's Bedford office if you haven't used the scheme before. There are no limits on the amount you can buy.
