Over the past week, most PhoneBank Staff will have received a Variation Letter from the Bank detailing changes it would like to make to each member of staff’s contract as a consequence of Telephony’s new Lifestyles Working Patterns.
It is essential that all staff receiving the Variation Letter - including those satisfied with the new Working Patterns they have been allocated - check the letter carefully to ensure that they are happy with its content.

Since the Bank first announced the introduction of Lifestyles Work Patterns in PhoneBank, LTU has invested considerable time, effort and resources to successfully ensure our members are treated fairly.
This has included two previous Newsletters specifically on Lifestyles, a series of Open Meetings in Sunderland and South Wales and individual representation at meetings with HoCC’s and HR on behalf of over 200 members.
As a consequence of LTU’s support for members, the Bank has confirmed that hundreds of staff who have selected just one Lifestyles Working Pattern - or preferred instead to remain on their existing working arrangements - will get what they wanted.
