TUPE Transfer - First Tranche Of Terms Agreed

LTU has been working with the Bank to see what, if any, policies could be confirmed as transferring in their totality before negotiations on more complex / problematic areas commenced. That initial work is now complete and agreement has been reached on a range of policies which that will simply be lifted in their entirety from the Bank. These include the Grievance and Disciplinary Policies, Union Recognition, Overtime, Hours of Work including Flexitime and the Holiday Policy including the Holiday Banking Scheme.

80 Jobs To Go In Move To Flatter Structure

Hot on the heels of the report from the Sunday Times that the Bank’s Registrars business had been put up for sale (after Eric Daniels, the Chief Executive, decided that Lloyds TSB Registrars was no longer part of its core business) Registrars has today added to the uncertainty surrounding the business by announcing that it wants to remove a tier of management with the loss of 80 jobs.
