LTU To Launch Breach Of Contract Claims
Date: 21st Mar 2011
LTU will be writing to the Bank to inform it that it intends to initiate breach of contract claims on behalf off all those staff who have been denied salary reviews and salary increases simply because they refused to sign the new contracts of employment.

The Bank is trying to bully, economically intimidate and browbeat staff into signing the new contracts
and we will not stand by and allow that to happen. However, despite the best efforts of the Bank what is all too clear is that staff are still saying that they are not going to sign the new contracts of employment. The current HR Leadership just don’t get it. Staff have legitimate concerns regarding the new contracts, particularly in respect of working hours, and the Bank needs to deal with those concerns rather than ignoring them and trying to impose their views on staff.
