Managerial Representation

The LTU Advice Team are a dedicated team of experienced Officials all of whom worked for the Bank before leaving to work for LTU. Like all our Officials, the Advice Team are employed and paid by the Union. This is extremely important and enables them to advise members on any aspect of working for the Bank, and understand the unique problems members face and the difficulties people can encounter in making their voices heard in a large organisation.
We do not employ Officials seconded from the Bank because we believe our members want to work with representatives whose only priority is assisting them and have no conflicts of interest.
Among the issues the Advice Team deal with frequently are:
- Job Security
- Changes in working hours
- Employment rights
- Voluntary early retirement and redundancy
- Performance Appraisal / Performance Management
- Performance Improvement Policy issues
- Grievances
- Disciplinary
